Mikaela is a proud local Larrakia woman with a strong connection to her Country through culture and community. Throughout her life, she has relished trying new and exciting art forms from performing arts, dance, poetry, pottery, street art, painting, beading and more.

During her traineeship in Melbourne under a Community and Culture program combined with her volunteer work for local community organisations abroad, she discovered her passion for working in community arts and being involved with local events and community engagement.
