ADMINISTRATOR - JOCELYN TRIBE
Responsible for the administration of the company, website management, marketing and general enquiries.
Jocelyn has been a Gulumoerrgin/Darwin based artist since 2016. She is interested in dance and movement as a method of accessing the embodiment of her Indonesian diaspora. Her skills range across mediums from visual arts, music, and dance to costume and production design. Her work appears across events through the format of exhibitions, theatre productions and even club nights as a DJ.
Jocelyn’s experience working in the arts sector offers a self-reflexive professional practice that is lead with her lived and studied experience in cultural competency and intersectional awareness. Her skills encompass an impressive spectrum from practicality to expert consultation at service to galleries, art centres and organisations. Her work shows successful examples of engagement through cross-cultural collaborations between youth, artists and master practitioners within both urban and remote environments. Her appreciation for organisational tasks in administration comes from integrating the nine to five schedule as a ritual stabilising activity in collective rhythm (financially and spiritually). Jocelyn’s trauma informed approach toward community development work also draws upon her artistic practice from within the arts sector.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree majoring in Printmaking from Victorian College of the Arts University of Melbourne and loads of experience across the sector Jocelyn is very happy to be working with the team at Tracks to help make everyone’s creative desires come to life with one email and calendar schedule at a time!
