The big news for 2006 was the remounting and reworking of A Bowls Club Wedding. It is very rare for Darwin to see return seasons and once again this sell out show delighted Darwin, while giving the women a second chance to hone their performance.

Ongoing skills development continued and the women created 9 small scale works with Julia Quinn and David McMicken, which were seen by over 1000 people. Performances included: the Arthritis Foundation, Danila Dilba Indigenous Chronic Conditions, the Administrator’s Pleasure at the Darwin Entertainment Centre, University of the Third Age (U3A), Getyaacttogether for Darwin Pride Festival, and the Big Girls’ Pajama Party for the Anti Cancer Foundation. New women continue to join the Grey Panthers and there are now over 35 women attending a weekly class.
