DANCE IN COOL SPACES
Tracks Dance is exploring new ways to place performance into public spaces, making them come alive to performers and audiences alike. The build up is around the corner and the search for COOL takes on a significance bordering on survival tactics!
MAKE A DANCE IN A WEEK - Project 1
Movers aged 9-18yrs participate in making a show and performing it in a week.
Choreographer Jess Devereux will work with you during the Term 3 school holidays to devise, rehearse and perform a contemporary dance work. A 5-day intensive program specially designed for young people who are passionate about dance, and who would like to participate in a choreographic process and performance. Previous dance experience preferred.
Venue: Tracks Studio, Frog Hollow Centre for the Arts, 56 McMinn St, Darwin
Dates: Monday 29th September – Friday 3rd October
Fee: $100 for the week’s workshops (incl. refreshments)
Can be paid for by the School Sports Voucher.

Primary aged - 9am to 12noon
Middle / High School aged - 1pm to 4pm
Friday 3rd Oct
