Tracks Choreolab 2025
Course Timeframe: Intensive on Feb 8th 2-5 PM
Followed by regular Monday & Thursday sessions: February 10 - April 12 from 5:30 until 8PM
Choreolab offers a unique, specialised environment to delve into choreography, collaboration, devising, and dance-making. Over 10 weeks, learn, explore and experience choreographic skills and processes in a relaxed group setting, and create short dance works together with the support of the Tracks creative team.
The program is co-led by Jenelle Saunders and David McMicken with special guest facilitators across the course, including James Mangohig (Music), Alyson Evans (Theatre and Characterisation), and Rachael Wallis (First Nations, Contemporary).
Choreolab began with a half-day Intensive, where we submerge into an immersive, rich and playful environment for choreographic creativity together. The program is aimed at participants with some level of experience in dance or movement (in any style) or with a current arts practice, and curiosity into the choreographic craft.
2025 Choreolab participants: Anita Lakatos, Antony Sinni, Bibi Ahmed, Flynn, Grace Dong, Jennie Attrill, Jocelyn Tribe, Kyhanna Tabakovic, Nadine Lee, Sheila Rose
