Over 60's Dance Troupe and Classes
Throughout the year, 2025
Tracks believe in dance as a whole-of-life activity. The Grey Panthers troupe for the over-60s is a prime example of this. Established in 1988, it is arguably the longest continually running seniors community dance group in Australia. The group gathers for a weekly dance class in Darwin every Friday morning, and Wednesday morning in Batchelor, servicing the Coomalie Region from February to December. As regular performers on the Darwin and surrounding region’s calendar, the group performs a mixture of repertoire and new works at charitable events and Senior-specific gatherings.
The group gathers for a weekly dance class in two locations: Darwin (Friday morning) and Batchelor (Wednesday morning), February - December. The group is available to perform a mixture of repertoire and new works, and relishes the chance to perform at charitable events and Senior-specific gatherings.
David McMicken continues his weekly supplemental research and dance development group, dedicated to generating divergence and creative devising through improvisation, beyond the usual Grey Panthers class format.
