CIELLA WILLIAMS 

Ciella is well known in the Darwin independent performing arts sector, and has worked with many major performing Arts organisations. She has been an actress, dancer, playwright, director, dramaturg, cultural worker, and tutor. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Indigenous Studies, and Creative Writing) from the University of Melbourne

Ciella is the co-creator and director of Creepy Curlew, a co-run creative studio delivering branding, illustration, layout, merchandise and digital content.

Ciella worked for the City of Darwin, managing the Community Grants Program, administering the Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee, and supporting the delivery of the Access Strategy, including DiversAbility Collective participation, delivering DiversAbility Fun Day, accessibility training and creation of Visual Stories

With Corrugated Iron Youth Arts, Ciella managed the delivery of Creative Holidays and Term Programs, and implemented new impact evaluation systems and accessible surveys

At Brown’s Mart, Ciella has been an Education Program Officer, Stage Manager/Director/Performer, Australian Theatre for Young People (2018–2021) – Fresh Ink Facilitator & Mentor

She has also worked as a Producer, Marketing & Artist Liaison for the Darwin Fringe Festival
