Choreolab Intensive - Alumni
November 7th & 8th. Tracks Studio
A weekend intensive aimed at Choreolab alumni. The Full Artistic Leadership team take the participants through deeper insights into Movement making, Storytelling, music, and theatre.
With no tertiary dance or theatre training in Darwin, Tracks took on board specific professional training opportunities\. This began in 2009 with a an entry level University course devised. The Course quickly began to attract people of diverse backgrounds, such as dance styles, theatre experience, teachers, musicians and visual artists. Overall, we have given initial inroads into creating live physical theatre making.
In 2025, Tracks formed a new artistic leadership team with high-level skills in Contemporary dance and dance making, theatre and storytelling, music production, and approaches to First Nations movement.
This year, we are inviting previous choreolab participants to engage in a two-day intensive with the Artistic Leadership Team. During this time, we will add higher-level skills to the toolbox, increasing the collective creativity here in Darwin.
