    Dead Singers Dance Society

Love to dance to great music with others? Back again in 2025, “DSDS” is a most fabulous 4-week dance course where participants learn a fun and achievable dance routine that celebrates the music of legendary, dearly departed singers. Anyone can join 'Dead Singers', but numbers are limited for each course. Don't miss out! Only Members truly know what it means to be in the DSDS inner circle ...

New and familiar faces are always welcome at Dead Singers Dance Society (DSDS) so book a spot and come for a dance! At the end of the course, there is an optional opportunity to show off the group's moves in front of an audience, or... just bust out your new skills, anytime, anywhere!

DSDS1 - Janis Joplin, Nina Simone, Sophie, Tammi Tyrell

    DSDS2 - KURT COBAIN

Come as you are" to the Dead Singers Dance Society!
Feeling angsty? Same here! Join us in celebrating the father of Francis Bean Cobain and '90s Grunge. We’re going to rock out to the muddled sounds of distorted guitar alongside the roaring—and sometimes whiney—vocals that Kurt Cobain blessed us with through his band Nirvana. Yes, it does "smell like teen spirit," BUT all ages are welcome! If you were a teen fanning out when he was with us on earth, chances are you probably have your own teens now; let’s channel that gnarly energy!

    Course dates: 16 April - 7 May. Wednesdays 5.30 - 6.45 pm
    Facilitator: Jenelle Saunders

Performance - Seabreeze Festival, May 10
