    Throughout the year, 2000

The turn of the century occurred, the year 2000, and the Grey Panthers did not slow down, with many smaller performances becoming a mainstay of their year. The women performed for Palmerston International Women’s Day, Parap Family Fun (performing Spice Girls - 'Spice Up Your Life'), at the RAAF Base for Rev Up Life Be In It (performing a marching routine), a special performance and interaction with U3A - NTU and some Prague Delegates, at the North Darwin RSL Veterans Day, the NT Ballroom Dancing Association, and Ausdance Dance Week. Other performance included the 'Time' dance,'History Repeating', 'It's Not Unusual' and reciting of Del's Poem. They also had a special seniors' workshop for Dance Week.

To finish the year the women performed as guest artists in Love Vs Gravity, dancing 'Imperfect Love', and 'That’s Why the Lady’s a Tramp'.

“Seeing the Grey Panthers perform as the Safe Sex Nanna's was a highlight for me. I don’t think I have ever had a Nanna hand me a condom and tell me to be safe.” Love Versus Gravity audience member
